Your Role
As Finance Manager, you’ll take complete ownership of our financial processes, ensuring smooth operations and providing key insights to drive the business forward. Reporting directly to the COO, your responsibilities include:

Financial Leadership
- Full Ownership of Financial Processes: Manage all aspects of invoice handling, including paying and filing incoming invoices, invoicing customers, and tracking payments.
- Collaboration with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with our Dutch Accountant to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting.
- Metrics and Insights: Design and maintain financial KPIs and other metrics to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
- Subsidy Administration: Own the end-to-end process for managing subsidies, ensuring compliance and optimising benefits.
- Strategic Influence: Play a pivotal role in shaping Autoscriber’s financial operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving them forward with autonomy.

Additional Responsibilities
- Office Management: Ensure our Cape Town office runs like clockwork by managing supplies, food, and liaising with the office rental agency.
- Team Building Coordination: Add a personal touch by organising engaging team-building events to foster collaboration and camaraderie.

- Analytical Expertise: Strong experience in financial administration, reporting, and KPI development. Experience in a tech or startup environment is a plus.
